My Favorite Things on the Internet vol. 2
This blog post about the silver lining in this trying, uncertain time nearly brought tears to my eyes. It’s beautiful.
I’ve been eyeing these West Elm drinking glasses for awhile now, and finally purchased them during a 25% off sale! (I got the ‘highball’ and ‘double old fashioned’ ones). They’re so chic and I feel joy every single time I use them. It’s the little things ♡
If you haven’t watched the Harry Styles tiny desk concert yet, please pause and watch it right now! It’s converted Trey into a Harry fan and I keep catching him listening to the album :)
I’m loving the look of lightweight, oversized blazers for spring and that they can be styled for the office or off-duty with denim shorts and a simple tank. I’m loving this one and this one.
If you’ve been looking for a chic puzzle to do while quarantining, then Piecework Puzzles is your answer! I ordered “Champagne Problems” and am in love! Tres, tres chic.
During this quarantine, I’ve committed to working out and/or going for a long walk every day! I don’t have the “not enough time” excuse anymore, ya know? It’s been so good for both my mental and physical health. I recommend Melissa Wood Health to someone almost on the daily because I love her gentle but effective pilates workouts that sculpt long, lean lines. However, I wanted a little more variety so I started Obe Fitness workouts too! They live stream a bunch of workouts every day, but you can also do on-demand workouts. They’re so fun and there’s a huge variety of workout styles and instructors! If you want to try Obe they have a free trial and you can get 30% off your first month with code JACY30.
I’m obsessed with the Instagram account Punk History! They add funny captions to old paintings and their posts constantly make me laugh!
I can’t stop making these delicious gluten free, dairy free cookies! They’re so simple ingredients-wise but legitimately melt in your mouth.
I’ve spent the past week creating my “Social Distancing” playlist of songs that are calming but mood-boosting. Many of the song titles and lyrics happen to have some cheeky irony too ;) This has been playing on repeat in our house, and I’ll keep adding to it as I come across the perfect songs! I hope you love it too.
