These were a bit of a splurge for me for sandals, but the leather is amazing and they're so comfortable! I also think they're super chic, and it's nice to mix in a pair of white shoes to my rotation.

For that gorgeous summer glow.
I picked up quite a few new beauty products this month, and will be sharing them in blog posts coming soon, but wanted to go ahead and share a few with you here! After having it on my wish list for over a year, I finally broke down and bought the Becca highlighter. It's gorgeous!! It comes in quite a few color options, but I went with "Opal." I thought this Milani blush in "Corallina" was so pretty, and since it was under $8, I went ahead and ordered it. It's quite bright, but if you apply lightly it will give you a beautiful flushed glow. Last but not least, this highlighting concealer by Maybelline is also under $8 and works so well! After I conceal my dark circles, I like to then apply this (with a blending sponge) under my eyes, down the bridge of my nose, just under the arches of my eyebrows, at my cupid's bow, and on my chin for the perfect, natural highlight.

I feel like I finally perfected my healthier cinnamon french toast, and it's the perfect summer brunch recipe, especially when topped with lots of fresh berries! Get the recipe here.
Month Highlights
Lots of family time.
This past weekend Trey and I hung out with my family (and attended a family friend's stunning wedding ^^), and it was so wonderful to all be together! As many of you know, my sister now lives in Virginia for law school, and it's so hard to be away from one another! She's been visiting the past couple of weeks, and it's been so amazing to get in some sister time! Trey also wrapped up another school year as a teacher and coach, so I'm loving getting to see him more, and he's really grateful to be getting in some much-needed downtime at home. Today we actually leave for a little trip to Virginia and DC with my parents to visit my sister, so be sure to follow along on Instagram and IG stories! I'll have several blogs posts coming up soon from the trip too. I'm really excited to get a break from work, and to get in lots of family time!
